About The RF Frontiers Podcast
While largely a mystery to the public, without the innovations of the efforts of hundreds of companies and thousands of RF professionals, our world could very well descend into chaos.
The modern world is highly dependent on the RF & Microwave industry. Much of these innovations are powered by entrepreneurial small and medium businesses, who labor in obscurity. Yet their success is crucial to the overall security and functionality of our world.
The RF Frontiers podcast is created by and for these SMB RF & Microwave pioneers, entrepreneurs, and leaders in an effort to spotlight their achievements and to provide learnings to help them further their mission(s).
We want every episode to give them practical ideas that they can put into action to grow their own business endeavors.
Our Audience
Our audience members are technical and business professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs who are simply interested in everything and anything RF.
Why Be a Guest on Our Show?
- Invest in your company and personal brand.
- Get out of your bubble and speak to new people outside your echo chamber.
- RF Frontiers is not simply about downloads and vanity. Our intent is to create video episodes and establish a continuous stream of long-form and short-form content, published on multiple platforms that will drive attention and create interest.
- The resources available to our highly technical audience, beyond technical specifications and white papers, are limited and we have observed great interest in learnings delivered via social media platforms, such as Youtube, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more.
- We actively promote each episode across our social media platforms, giving credit and multiple mentions to each of our guests and their organizations. As our audience is large and growing, this will provide significant opportunities for folks to discover you and your company.
- As our episodes remain available indefinitely, guests will derive valuable exposure for years to come.
What to Expect
Episode Format
- Duration: ~45-60 minutes. But, we do not plan to constrain the time. So, if magic happens we’re going to enjoy it for as long and as much as we hope you do.
- This is not simply a series of sales pitches. Our goal is to create a series of conversations with a recurring panel of RF business and technical experts. In fact, we do not want a sales pitch per se. We wish to create interest in you and your stories and allow curiosity to drive the rest for you.
- Style: Initially, our panel is simply conducting interviews. In time, we will evolve to multiple segments in a conversational format. Long-term we are considering including a live, invite-only live event format that will include a Q& A session with our guests.
Recording Process
- We record via Riverside (https://riverside.fm) for optimal video and audio quality.
The session typically lasts ~90 minutes, including a brief pre-recording prep session. - We aim for a casual conversation that feels natural and engaging.
- Recommendations for recording:
- A good Internet connection
- A quiet, well lit room. Backlighting from a window or other source is not recommended. Your background is also important. Let your authenticity and the interesting side of you shine through!
- A good webcam and microphone with closed headphones or earbuds. It is important to present yourself as comfortable and with as high fidelity as you are able.
